Hi everyone!
First, an update...I’ve moved to England to pursue further graduate study and am now working on the project remotely. You can now contact Sara Morris with any questions you have about the bacteria TMDL - her contact information is at the bottom of the page here. Sara has been working on the project since we started it nearly a year ago and is well acquainted with Lick Creek and the work we’ve done.
The final public meeting for Lick Creek will be held on July 16 (that’s Monday) at 7 pm at Dante Lives On in Dante, Virginia. We’ll be presenting the TMDL allocation scenarios (that is, the whole point of the study!) for both the benthic and bacteria TMDLs. We’ll also have copies of the executive summary of the reports available to distribute. If you’d like to read the full bacteria report, I’ve attached a DRAFT version of the final report to this message. Hopefully I’ll post a follow-up message soon with the benthic report. The reports will be finalized after we receive stakeholder comments at the final public meeting.
