This forum served as a discussion and informational location for the Lick Creek TMDL. Lick Creek is located just north of Saint Paul, Virginia. It covers portions of Russell, Dickenson, and Wise Counties. Lick Creek has both a benthic and a bacterial impairment. The public comment period for the draft final version of the TMDL report closed August 16. We are currently working on preparing files for submission to DEQ & EPA.

Development of the bacteria TMDL for Hardware River has begun. Hardware River is located South of Charlottesville in both Albemarle and Fluvanna Counties. The primary land uses are forest and pasture.

Indian Creek is located in Tazewell County, VA, with the headwaters nestled between McDowell County, WV and Buchanan County, VA. The outlet of the creek is near Cedar Bluff, VA.
